Operation Christmas Child

As we've had to say with almost everything, Operation Christmas Child and the shoebox collection looks different this year.  However, they are collecting shoeboxes.  

The easiest and safest way is to Build a Shoebox ONLINE. 

To build a shoebox online, visit the link above or go directly to https://samaritanspurse.org/occ.  You will be directed through a series of choices: Boy or girl? Age? Pick essentials and then pick from all sorts of other options. It's really simple.  You'll also be given the option to include a discipleship packet for an additional $6.  You can build multiple boxes and you can even have Operation Christmas Child build the boxes for you.  Each box is $25.  

For those of you staying at home during this pandemic, we highly recommend you select this on-line option. Even if you are not remaining at home, this is a wise and easy option.  If you build a shoebox on-line, please let us know how many you built so we can celebrate together as a church. 

If you would like to pack a box yourself. . . 

Boxes will be available in the Redeeming Life Church lobby this Sunday (Nov. 8) and next Sunday (Nov. 15).  You may take completed boxes to the collection site based on the schedule below or you may bring them back to Redeeming Life on Sunday (Nov. 15) or the following Sunday (Nov. 22).  Redeeming Life is not a collection site. For safety, we will only be collecting shoeboxes from our Redeeming Life faith-family on these two Sundays.  Then, one of us will take all the boxes that we collect at the church building to the Bountiful collection site on Nov. 23.
