Get Ready for 1 Peter ("Stirred Up and Sanding Firm")

We’ll be going through an 11-week series in 1 Peter called “Stirred Up and Standing Firm.” How much do you know about 1 Peter? What’s the background? What are the themes? Have you read 1 Peter recently?

The book of 1 Peter was written to encourage those living in a crazy world that’s not their own. As Christians, we are citizens of God’s Kingdom, just passing through this world on our way to glory. Need encouragement in this crazy world? That’s exactly what 1 Peter was written for! This book is for you, and so is this series.

Starting this Sunday, we’re starting the series that will include four preachers—Bryan Catherman, Mike Pless, Robbie Tschorn, and Josiah Walker. Before we get started, you can greatly help yourself out by watching this video with Pastor Robbie and Pastor Bryan. They discuss things you would do well to know ahead of time.
