Announcement of Ministries for 1/23

FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on January 23rd.  We will be presenting new members, sharing those who are no longer in membership, and reporting on our finances for 2021.

GIVING STATEMENTS | 2021 giving statements are going out in the mail.  You can download and print your 2021 giving statements from Realm and you should see instructions for how to do in the main church group.  Thank you for your charitable giving!

HAND SANITIZER | God has blessed Redeeming Life with thousands of bottles of hand sanitizer.  This cold, flu, RSV, COVID, and Oregon Trail Dysentery season, hand washing and hand sanitizer can’t hurt.  And we want to bless our friends, neighbors, and co-workers.  Bottles will be located in the lobby.  Please take as many as you would like and find ways to bless others with them.

CONNECTION CARDS | You’ll find two kinds of Connection Cards at the church building.  One is a large card you can write on and leave in the offering/connection box.  It’s used for updating your information, requesting information, or sharing prayer requests.  The other Connection Card is a bookmark with important contact information printed on the back.  You’ll find links to join Realm, sign up for RightNow Media, share prayer requests, contact the pastors, and more.  Please share these bookmarks with your friends.

DESSERT WITH THE PASTOR | Are you new to Redeeming Life Church?  Do you have questions?  Join Pastor Bryan for an evening of conversation, story sharing, and dessert.  Our next Dessert with the Pastor is Sunday, January 23rd, at 6:30 PM, at the church building.  If you’re interested, please let Pastor Bryan or Pastor Josiah know so we can be sure to have a dessert for you!  Please sign up in the lobby or RSVP to the event on Realm.

MEMBERSHIP | Are you ready to join our faith-family and serve on God’s mission with Redeeming Life Church?  If so, please contact Pastor Bryan about your next steps to become a member of Redeeming Life Church.

STRUGGLING? | If you are struggling under the weight of life’s circumstances, sin, or spiritual attack, you don’t have to go through it alone.  God’s Church is his family and we are here to help.  If you are struggling, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Fellowship Group Leader, another Covenant Member, Pastor Mike, Pastor Bryan, Pastor Robbie, or Josiah.  We will pray with you, walk alongside you, set up a time for Pastoral care or formal counseling.  You are not alone.

REALM | We use an online medium called Realm to stay informed and connected throughout the week.  You can join groups that offer much more in your Christian journey.  There’s a group for prayer requests, another for more Biblical study.  There are fellowship groups and community connection groups. There’s also an app for easy mobile use. If you are not yet on Realm, you can sign up at https://onrealm.org/rlc. If you sign up through the App, the “Invitation Code” is “rlc”.

HOMELESS CARE PACKS | There are still a few homeless care kits left.  These bags are equipped with toiletries, snacks, space blankets, gospel information, and other things that could prove helpful on the street. Please pick up two or three bags, put them in your car, and pray for opportunities to give these out as God brings homeless people across your path.  Pray for the person and give him or her a bag.

QUESTIONS ABOUT FOLLOWING JESUS? | If you have questions about what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ, we would like to help.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Pastors and ministry staff, a Fellowship Group leader, a Worship Team leader, or other Redeeming Life member to discuss what it means to be a Christian.  We’d love to try to answer any questions you might have and pray with you.

YOUR NEXT STEPS | We believe the Christian journey at Redeeming Life Church is a wonderful way for you to grow as a Christian and get involved with our faith-family at Redeeming Life Church.  Are you taking the next step in your journey?  What’s your next step?  1.  Worship weekly with the faith-family.  2. Engage in weekly Bible study with others.  3.  Join a Fellowship Group.  4 Serve the faith-family.  5.  Live on mission.   Are you willing to take the next simple step on your journey with Jesus?
