Announcement of Ministries, 10/30

PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the Text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll sing His Mercy is More, Christ the Fount, and Jesus is Our Righteousness.  It’s Family Worship Sunday so the kids will also join at the front to help us with God is For Us.   Pastor Bryan will a children’s sermon and Pastor Josiah will preach Romans 6:15-23.

FAMILY WORSHIP SERVICE | The fifth Sunday of every month is Family Worship.  This means we’ll have a children’s sermon and activities in the sanctuary for the kids but there will not be a separate children’s ministry.  The kiddos will have an opportunity to see what it means to sit in the service and learn from the adults.  If you are able, consider sitting with a family with young children and helping the parents.  This Sunday, October 30th is family worship.

CHILI COOK-OFF | Join us in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, October 30th at 6 PM with your best chili.  Or just come to enjoy and judge good chili.  Either way, come fellowship with the Redeeming Life Faith Family.  RSVP on the sign up in the lobby or on Realm.  See you there!

STOVES FOR UKRAINE | We’re still collecting funds to help buy more stoves.  With the power plants destroyed in Ukraine, some people can’t heat their homes or cook.  We are partnering with Mission Eurasia to buy stoves and firewood for Ukrainians.  If you would like to join us in this mission, please find more info on Realm and make your donations to our Mission Support Fund.

BAPTISM | If you would like to follow Jesus in believer’s baptism, please let us know.  We’d love to help you faithfully follow Jesus.

CONNECTION CARDS | Our Connection Card is a bookmark with important contact information printed on the back.  You’ll find links to join Realm, sign up for RightNow Media, share prayer requests, contact the pastors, and more.  Please share these bookmarks with your friends.

JOIN THE MUSIC TEAM | The musicians and AV techs leading us in musical worship are a great group, but they’re praying for a few more talented people.  If God is calling you to lead our faith-family to worship the Lord through music or AV work, please contact Robbie.

FELLOWSHIP GROUPS | Looking to join a Fellowship Group? We have various small groups that meet throughout the week.  Is God calling you to lead a Fellowship Group?  Find more info on Realm or talk with Pastor Bryan to learn more.

WHO ARE WE? | We are a church that hopes to see our community redeemed by the power of the gospel.  Redeeming Life Church exists to know, live, and proclaim the gospel.  We believe the God’s Word from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the inerrant story of the redemptive history of God—otherwise known as the gospel.  To be people who are immersed in knowing, living, and proclaiming the gospel, we follow the instructions of Christ to love God, love people, and make disciples.

MEMBERSHIP CLASS | Are you ready to join our faith-family and serve on God’s mission with Redeeming Life Church?  What to learn more about what it means to be a Covenant Member of Redeeming Life Church?  If so, please sign up for our next member ship class.  It’s two consecutive Sundays, right after our church services.  Our next classes are November 6th, and 13th.  Please sign up in the lobby, RSVP on Realm or let Pastors Bryan or Josiah know.

ONLINE GIVING | If you would like to worship through faithful giving and give online, log into your Realm account and select the giving tab.  If you’re not a Realm user, you may visit https://onrealm.org/rlc/give/now.   We appreciate your faithful giving and we hope you might consider setting up a reoccurring giving schedule.

CSB BIBLE TRANSLATION | While we love many Bible translations at Redeeming Life Church, officially, we preach out of the Christian Standard Bible (CSV) most of the time.  It’s not that we think this translation is perfect or the best, but that we settled on a specific translation, so you could bring a Bible and follow along if that’s your preference.  We also like both the CSB Study Bible and the ESV Study Bible, although we don’t argue that either are perfect.
