Announcement of Ministries for 1/1/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the Text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll sing 10,000 Reasons, How Great Thou Art, It is Well with My Soul, and Christ the Fount. Pastor Josiah is preaching on the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant from Matthew 18-21-35, and we’ll take the Lord’s Supper together.
PASTOR BRYAN’S SABBATICAL | Pastor Bryan and the Catherman family will be on Sabbatical from December 26th to January 31st. This is a time for rest, prayer, spiritual renewal, reading, and other things that will equip Pastor Bryan for another decade of faithful ministry. In his absence, Pastor Josiah and Robbie are available.

SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, January 9th, at 11:30am in the RLC Fellowship Hall. The food is provided. Please join us for fellowship and fun, and bring a friend. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we get a good count for the food.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 9 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Ramblin’ Roads restaurant (544 W 400 N, Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Our next Men’s Breakfast is January 7, 2023. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast. See you there!
FAMILY GAME NIGHT | Parents and Kids join us for an evening of board games, snacks, and fellowship on Friday, January 13th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. It’s a great time to hang out, have fun, and get to know other families in our church.

CSB BIBLE TRANSLATION | While we love many Bible translations at Redeeming Life Church, officially, we preach out of the Christian Standard Bible (CSV) most of the time. It’s not that we think this translation is perfect or the best, but that we settled on a specific translation, so you could bring a Bible and follow along if that’s your preference. We also like both the CSB Study Bible and the ESV Study Bible, although we don’t argue that either are perfect.
