Announcement of Ministries, 3/27

PREACHERS’ LUNCH | POSTPONED TO APRIL 30th.  Bring your Bible and a bag lunch on Saturday, April 30th at Noon.  We’re gathering to fellowship and sit under the teaching of the preached Word.  Pick up fast-food or pack a lunch, and, don’t forget your Bible!  We’ve invited other area pastors, but you don’t have to be a pastor or preacher to join us.  You just must appreciate preaching.  Feel free to invite your friends.  Direct any questions to Pastor Bryan.

FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on April 3rd.  We will be presenting new members, sharing those who are no longer in membership, and much more.  If you’re a member, please plan on attending.

JOE THOMPSON’S FUNERAL | Joe Thompson’s family are working on the details for Joe’s funeral.  It will be at Redeeming Life Church and most likely on Saturday, April 9th in the afternoon.  We’ll let you know when we have more info.

MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 9 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Ramblin’ Roads restaurant (544 W 400 N, Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship.   Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast. Our next Men’s Breakfast is April 2nd.

WE NEED HELP THE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY | Here’s a great opportunity to serve and preach the gospel to the next generation of the Church.  Please consider volunteering in the Nursery or Pre-K classes.  Service will be on rotation, certainly not every week or as often as you might think.   Please contact Pastor Josiah for more info.

REALM | We use an online medium called Realm to stay informed and connected throughout the week.  You can join groups that offer much more in your Christian journey.  There’s a group for prayer requests, another for more Biblical study.  There are fellowship groups and community connection groups. There’s also an app for easy mobile use. If you are not yet on Realm, you can sign up at https://onrealm.org/rlc. If you sign up through the App, the “Invitation Code” is “rlc”.

CONNECTION CARDS | You’ll find two kinds of Connection Cards at the church building.  One is a large card you can write on and leave in the offering/connection box.  It’s used for updating your information, requesting information, or sharing prayer requests.  The other Connection Card is a bookmark with important contact information printed on the back.  You’ll find links to join Realm, sign up for RightNow Media, share prayer requests, contact the pastors, and more.  Please share these bookmarks with your friends.

MEMBERSHIP | Are you ready to join our faith-family and serve on God’s mission with Redeeming Life Church?  If so, please contact Pastor Bryan about your next steps to become a member of Redeeming Life Church.

NEED PRAYER? | Do you have a prayer request and would like our pastoral staff to pray for you?  You may email your prayer requests to Prayer@RedeemingLifeUtah.org or text (385) 368-6665.

ANNIE ARMSTRONG OFFERING | If you would like to make a donation to support the work of the North American Mission Board’s church planting or SEND Relief work in North America, you may write your check to Redeeming Life Church and include “NAMB” or “Annie Armstrong Easter Offering” in the memo line or give online and put “NAMB” or “Annie Armstrong Easter Offering” in the note.  If you’d like to make a tax-deductible donation on Realm, select the SBC Mission Offerings drop-down choice Or you may text "RLC SBC $" and the amount (following the $) to 73256. (Annie Armstrong was an instrumental woman who was key in starting the Women’s Mission Union and raising support for mission work in North American.  This offering is named after her.)

SALTYBELIEVER.COM | Pastor Bryan keeps a website called SaltyBeliever.com. The site features lots of Bible study and discipleship resources, videos, classes, and podcast called “Salty Believer Unscripted.”

WHO ARE WE? | We are a church that hopes to see our community redeemed by the power of the gospel.  Redeeming Life Church exists to know, live, and proclaim the gospel.  We believe the God’s Word from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the inerrant story of the redemptive history of God—otherwise known as the gospel.  To be people who are immersed in knowing, living, and proclaiming the gospel, we follow the instructions of Christ to love God, love people, and make disciples.
