Announcement of Ministries, 9/4

PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the Text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ.  On Sunday, we’ll sing For a Thousand Tongues to Sing, It Is Well With My Soul, Good and Gracious King, and The Father Has Found a Resting Place.  Pastor Bryan will preach Romans 4:1-5 (returning to our Romans series), and we’ll take the Lord’s Supper together.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP GROUP (20 THINGS) | Pastor Bryan is leading a 20-week Fellowship Group exploring systematic theology.  Each participant will need a copy of Christian Beliefs: Twenty Basics Every Christian Should Know by Wayne Grudem (https://amzn.to/3dx1CAG) and a Bible.  Most of Christian Beliefs chapters run between 3 and 7 pages.  Participants will be expected to have read the chapter before the session.  This Fellowship Group will meet at the church building at 6:30 PM on Wednesday nights and there will be a corresponding Zoom meeting on-line for those who can’t participate in person.  It begins on September 7th.  We’ll pause after November 16th for the holiday season and finish the last 9 weeks starting on February 8th.  Talk with Pastor Bryan if you have questions and join the Wednesday Night Fellowship (20 Things) group on Realm.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP GROUP (AIG) | The AIG Wednesday Fellowship Group will resume meeting September 7th at 6:30 P.M. at the church building.  This group is led by Pastor Mike and uses a study from Answers in Genesis: Answers Bible Curriculum.  Answers Bible Curriculum is a series of studies through the entire Bible.  The lesson plan for this series will focus on David and Solomon's kingdoms.  Please let Pastor Mike know if you plan to attend so that adequate materials can be ready.  Also, you can find more information on the Wednesday Night Fellowship (AIG) Realm group.

MEMBERSHIP CLASS | Are you ready to join our faith-family and serve on God’s mission with Redeeming Life Church?  If so, please plan to attend our Membership Class. This is a two-week class, meeting in the Fellowship Hall following our Sunday service.  Our next Membership Class will be held on September 18th and 25th. RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby.

SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, September 12th, at 11:30am in the RLC Fellowship Hall.  The food is provided. Please join us for fellowship and fun, and bring a friend.  Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we get a good count for the food.

SERMON PODCAST & LIVE STREAM | In the event that you miss a Sunday sermon because you are serving, sick, or otherwise unable to be with us for the service all-together, you can always find the live-stream, full service videos, sermon videos, and audio recordings on our website at www.RedeemingLifeUtah.org.  We also live-stream on YouTube at 11 AM.

WHO ARE WE? | We are a church that hopes to see our community redeemed by the power of the gospel.  Redeeming Life Church exists to know, live, and proclaim the gospel.  We believe the God’s Word from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the inerrant story of the redemptive history of God—otherwise known as the gospel.  To be people who are immersed in knowing, living, and proclaiming the gospel, we follow the instructions of Christ to love God, love people, and make disciples.

ONLINE GIVING | If you would like to worship through faithful giving and give online, log into your Realm account and select the giving tab.  If you’re not a Realm user, you may visit https://onrealm.org/rlc/give/now.   We appreciate your faithful giving and we hope you might consider setting up a reoccurring giving schedule.

MISSION RESOURCES | Every disciple should be seeking to make disciples as we follow Jesus.  To help equip you to engage in the work of the Great Commission, we provide free materials on Resource Tables in the back of the sanctuary and on the Connection Counter.  The resources are free and may help you faithfully make disciples of Jesus Christ.
