Announcement of Ministries 1/29/23

PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll sing Death was Arrested, Grace Greater Than Our Sin, Before the Throne of God Above, and Blessed Assurance. Pastor Josiah is wrapping up our Potent Parable series with the Parable of the Good Samaritan from Luke 10:25-37, and it is Family Worship Sunday so our children ages 3 years old and above will be joining us for the entire service.

FAMILY WORSHIP SERVICE | The fifth Sunday of every month is Family Worship. This means we’ll have a children’s sermon and activities in the sanctuary for the kids but there will not be a separate children’s ministry. The kiddos will have an opportunity to see what it means to sit in the service and learn from the adults. If you are able, consider sitting with a family with young children and helping the parents. This Sunday, January 29this family worship

PASTOR BRYAN’S SABBATICAL | Pastor Bryan and the Catherman family will be on Sabbatical from December 26th to January 31st. This is a time for rest, prayer, spiritual renewal, reading, and other things that will equip Pastor Bryan for another decade of faithful ministry. In his absence, Pastor Josiah and Robbie are available.

FELLOWSHIP GROUPS | Looking to join a Fellowship Group? We have various small groups that meet throughout the week. Is God calling you to lead a Fellowship Group? Find more info on Realm or talk with Pastor Bryan to learn more.

“20 THINGS” FELLOWSHIP GROUP | Our “20 Things” fellowship group, led by Pastor Bryan is starting up again on Wednesday, February 9th. This group is going through systematic theology as presented in Wayne Grudem's "Christian Beliefs: Twenty Basic Things Every Christian Should Know.” If you were not able to join Pastor Bryan for the first-half of the group, you are still welcome to join him for the remainder of the class. The group will begin with chapter 12 and finish the last nine chapters of Dr. Grudem’s book together. This group meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall and over zoom. See Pastor Bryan for more details.

MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 9 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Ramblin’ Roads restaurant (544 W 400 N, Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Pastors and ministry staff, a Fellowship Group leader, a Worship Team leader, or other Redeeming Life member to discuss what it means to be a Christian. We’d love to try to answer any questions you might have and pray with you.
