Announcement of Ministries 10/22/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing God Is For Us, Grace Greater Than Our Sin, His Mercy Is More, and Colossians 1. We will be continuing our series through the book of Romans, as Pastor Bryan delivers a message on Romans 16:1-2, and we will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
WORSHIP & DISCUSSION NIGHT | Join us on Sunday October 22nd, at 6:30pm in the Assembly Hall for an evening of worship and discussion as Pastor Bryan addresses the difficult question: “How does the Christian live fearlessly in a frightening world?”
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
WE NEED HELP THE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY | Here’s a great opportunity to serve and preach the gospel to the next generation of the Church. Please consider volunteering in the Nursery, Pre-K, or older kids’ classes. We also need people to monitor the cameras on an iPad during the service or serve as the Children’s Ministry Assistant. You can choose to serve during the 9:30am class hour, the 11:00 worship service, or both! Volunteers serve on a rotation, certainly not every week or as often as you might think. Please contact Pastor Josiah for more info.
