Announcement of Ministries 10/8/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing 10,000 Reasons, Send Me Out, Jesus Paid It All(Christ I Owe), Nothing But The Blood, and All I Have Is Christ(I Surrender All). We will be continuing our series through the book of Romans, as Pastor Bryan delivers a message on Romans 15:14-21, and we will respond to the preached word by observing the Lord’s Supper together.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
FAMILY MEETING | Mark your calendar and plan to attend our October Family Meeting. Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on October 8th. We will be discussing some end of year business in preparation for our November Family Meeting. This meeting is open to any non-members, and all our current members are encouraged to attend.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, September 11th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
CHILI COOK-OFF! | Join us for our 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off! On Sunday, October 15th, at 4:30pm. If you don't want to participate in the contest, you can still come, enjoy some delicious chili and cast your vote for the winner. We've outgrown our Fellowship Hall, so bundle up because this year our cook-off will be held outside. (NOTE: We will need help before and after the event with set-up and tear-down.) To enter a chili, sign-up to bring a side, or volunteer to help, please RSVP on Realm or on the information sheet in the Lobby.
WORSHIP & DISCUSSION NIGHT | Join us on Sunday October 22nd, at 6:30pm in the Assembly Hall for an evening of worship and discussion as Pastor Bryan addresses the difficult question: “How does the Christian live fearlessly in a frightening world?”

You will promptly receive a response with instructions and a secure link to follow. The system will send you a secure link to complete your transaction and send you a giving receipt. This will also allow your donation to be tracked in our system so we can provide you with tax info in January.
STRUGGLING? | If you are struggling under the weight of life’s circumstances, sin, or spiritual attack, you don’t have to go through it alone. God’s Church is his family, and we are here to help. If you are struggling, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Fellowship Group Leader, another Covenant Member, or one of our Pastors. We will pray with you, walk alongside you, set up a time for Pastoral care or formal counseling. You are not alone.
