Announcement of Ministries 11/5/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing Hallelujah What A Savior, In Christ Alone, Jesus Is Our Righteousness, and Christ Our Hope In Life & Death. We will be continuing our series through the book of Romans, as Pastor Bryan delivers a message on Romans 16:17-18, and we will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, November 13th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
FAMILY MEETING & THANKSGIVING DINNER | Our next family meeting is November 19thfrom 4:30pm-8:00pm. This meeting will be a pot-luck-style Thanksgiving meal. We will affirm the budget, vote on church council members, and affirm new members into covenant membership. There will also be a Q&A informational meeting for those who would like to discuss the budget in more detail or ask questions that might not concern the larger body of members at 3:30pm that same day prior to our family meeting. BUDGET Q&A MEETING | Our Covenant Members are voting on our 2024 budget at the November 19th Family Meeting. Each member will receive a copy of the proposed budget after our 11:00am worship service, and it will be posted on REALM as well. That afternoon at 3:30pm, Sunday, November 19th, the Church Council and Finance Team are hosting a Q&A meeting to answer any questions. This will be the chief time for discussion to help keep the Family Meeting on schedule. Please RSVP on Realm if you plan on attending the Q&A meeting.
GREETERS NEEDED | We are looking for faithful servants who would like to open doors, assist seniors, direct families to check in, welcome guests, and be a friendly face to welcome people to our church on Sunday mornings. If you’re interested and feel that God might be calling you to serve our faith-family in this way, please contact Pastor Josiah.

STRUGGLING? | If you are struggling under the weight of life’s circumstances, sin, or spiritual attack, you don’t have to go through it alone. God’s Church is his family, and we are here to help. If you are struggling, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Fellowship Group Leader, another Covenant Member, or one of our Pastors. We will pray with you, walk alongside you, set up a time for Pastoral care or formal counseling. You are not alone.
