Announcement of Ministries 12/3/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing Come Behold The Wondrous Mystery, Sing We The Song of Emmanuel, and Before The Throne of God Above. Pastor Bryan will be continuing our Christmas Series: “Who Is This Child?” with a message centered on Hebrews 7:26-28, and we will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, December 11th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Since we're in the Christmas season, we're planning to do a White Elephant gift exchange. If you would like to participate you may bring something from your home or purchase a gift that does not exceed $5. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
EVE OF EVE SERVICE | Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and plan to attend one of our Eve of Eve Christmas Services on December 23rd at 6:30pm OR 8:15pm. There are invite cards available in the Lobby. This is a great and easy missional opportunity to invite friends or neighbors to come and hear the gospel this Christmas Season.
SECURITY TEAM | Interested in joining the Redeeming Life Security Team? Members of this team serve as parking lot greeters, watch cameras, and welcome those showing up a little late. There are some other tasks that may come up from time to time. If you’re interested, please let Pastor Bryan or Pastor Josiah know.
RETURN TO SENDER? | Have you moved recently? Has your phone number changed? Before your 2023 Giving Statements are mailed out next year, now is the perfect time to log into Realm and verify that all of your important contact information is up to date.
REALM | We use an online medium called Realm to stay informed and connected throughout the week. You can join groups that offer much more in your Christian journey. There’s a group for prayer requests, another for more Biblical study. There are fellowship groups and community connection groups. There’s also an app for easy mobile use. If you are not yet on Realm, you can sign up at https://onrealm.org/rlc. If you sign up through the App, the “Invitation Code” is “rlc”.
