Announcement of Ministries 12/17/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing His Mercy Is More, Hope of the Ages, The Solid Rock, and Jesus Is Our Righteousness. Pastor Bryan will be continuing our Christmas Series: “Who Is This Child?” with a message centered on Acts 4:11-12, and we will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
EVE OF EVE SERVICE | Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and plan to attend one of our Eve of Eve Christmas Services on December 23rd at 6:30pm OR 8:15pm. There are invite cards available in the Lobby. This is a great and easy missional opportunity to invite friends or neighbors to come and hear the gospel this Christmas Season.
CLASS HOUR | For those interested in growing in their faith, we have a class hour on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am before our 11:00am Worship Gathering. These classes cover a wide array of various subjects. There are classes for kids from birth through high school and different adult studies as well. More details can be found on Realm, or you can contact one of our pastors with any questions. NEW CLASSES START January 7th – See Sign-Ups In the Lobby for Class Descriptions.
CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS | There’s still time to give to Christmas Blessings. Christmas Blessings is a way for us to give gift cards to families in need this Christmas season. They will use these cards to shop for gifts and food for Christmas. If you’d like to give to this need, please select “ACTS 11” under giving in Realm or write “ACTS 11” on the memo line of your check.
GREETERS NEEDED | We are looking for faithful servants who would like to open doors, assist seniors, direct families to check in, welcome guest, and be a friendly face to welcome our church on Sunday mornings. If you’re interested and feel that God might be calling you to serve our faith-family, please contact Pastor Josiah.
LOTTIE MOON OFFERING | If you would like to donate to support the work of the International Mission Board mission work overseas, you may write your check to Redeeming Life Church and include “IMB” or “Lottie Moon Christmas Offering” in the memo line or give online and select “Special Offerings” in the list of giving options. If you’d like to make a tax-deductible donation on Realm, select the SBC Mission Offerings drop-down choice. Or you may text "RLC SBC $" and the amount (following the $) to 73256. (Lottie Moon was a brave woman who served as an SBC missionary to China for over 40 years. This offering is named after her.)
