Announcement of Ministries 12/31/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing God Is For Us, Turn Your Eyes, Great Is Thy Faithfulness, and How Great Thou Art. As we close out 2023, Pastor Bryan will be delivering a message centered on 2 Chronicles 20:12, and we will respond to the preached word by spending time in prayer together.
CLASS HOUR | For those interested in growing in their faith, we have a class hour on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am before our 11:00am Worship Gathering. These classes cover a wide array of various subjects. There are classes for kids from birth through high school and different adult studies as well. More details can be found on Realm, or you can contact one of our pastors with any questions. NEW CLASSES START January 7th – See Sign-Ups In the Lobby for Class Descriptions.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, January 8th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
EVENING OF THEOLOGICAL DISCUSSION | Join us for an evening of Theological Discussion on January 14th, at 4:00pm in the Fellowship Hall; as we examine the topic of Elders and Deacons, how the Bible outlines these two offices of the church, and how these offices exist in the church today.
LOTTIE MOON OFFERING | If you would like to donate to support the work of the International Mission Board mission work overseas, you may write your check to Redeeming Life Church and include “IMB” or “Lottie Moon Christmas Offering” in the memo line or give online and select “Special Offerings” in the list of giving options. If you’d like to make a tax-deductible donation on Realm, select the SBC Mission Offerings drop-down choice. Or you may text "RLC SBC $" and the amount (following the $) to 73256. (Lottie Moon was a brave woman who served as an SBC missionary to China for over 40 years. This offering is named after her.)
