Announcement of Ministries 12/10/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing Sing We The Song of Emmanuel, Hope of the Ages, Good and Gracious King, and Christ the True and Better. Pastor Bryan will be continuing our Christmas Series: “Who Is This Child?” with a message centered on Matthew 25:31-34, and we will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, December 11th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. Since we're in the Christmas season, we're planning to do a White Elephant gift exchange. If you would like to participate you may bring something from your home or purchase a gift that does not exceed $5. EVE OF EVE SERVICE | Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and plan to attend one of our Eve of Eve Christmas Services on December 23rd at 6:30pm OR 8:15pm. There are invite cards available in the Lobby. This is a great and easy missional opportunity to invite friends or neighbors to come and hear the gospel this Christmas Season.
SECURITY TEAM | Interested in joining the Redeeming Life Security Team? Members of this team serve as parking lot greeters, watch cameras, and welcome those showing up a little late. There are some other tasks that may come up from time to time. If you’re interested, please let Pastor Bryan or Pastor Josiah know.
LOTTIE MOON OFFERING | If you would like to make a donation to support the work of the International Mission Board mission work overseas, you may write your check to Redeeming Life Church and include “IMB” or “Lottie Moon Christmas Offering” in the memo line or give online and select “Special Offerings” in the list of giving options. If you’d like to make a tax-deductible donation on Realm, select the SBC Mission Offerings drop-down choice. Or you may text "RLC SBC $" and the amount (following the $) to 73256. (Lottie Moon was a brave woman who served as an SBC missionary to China for over 40 years. This offering is named after her.)
TEXT GIVING | If you would like to worship through faithful giving and use text messaging to do it, send “RLC” to 73256 for a form you can use from your phone. You will promptly receive a response with instructions and a secure link to follow. The system will send you a secure link to complete your transaction and send you a giving receipt. This will also allow your donation to be tracked in our system so we can provide you with tax info in January.
