We're Grateful for Our Ukrainian Ministries
On Sunday mornings, a growing community of Ukrainians gathers for a Bible Study at Redeeming Life Church. The words spoken and prayed in their fellowship group Ukrainian, although some of the refugees also speak English, Russian, or French. Presently, there is also child care. Starting April 16th, we’ll have classes for all ages of children and youth, plus other classes for adults happening at the same time. Their slightly older kids and youth will be have classes too, although those will be in English.
In addition, we are so grateful for Roman and Mariia Kulynych who are translating our worship services into Ukrainian. Our Pastors send them a full manuscript of the sermon so they have additional time to translate it into Ukrainian. Roman or Mariia sits in a space where he or she can hear the service in English and see it through a window while they translate into a transmitter. Those in need are able to pick up an earpiece and hear the Ukrainian translation at the same time our preachers are expounding God’s Word. It’s a wonderful blessing to the Ukrainian community gathering with us on Sundays, and we’re blessed to worship together with them.
If you’d like to join us for worship, we gather at 11 AM on Sundays. Starting April 16th, we’ll have Bible Study classes for all ages and one in Ukrainian at 9:30 AM.
