Announcement of Ministries 4/2/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing Glorious, God is For Us, Good & Gracious King, and Nothing but the Blood. Pastor Bryan will be preaching a Palm Sunday Sermon centered on John 12:12-13, and we will celebrate together as one of our members makes a bold profession of their faith by participating in Believer’s Baptism.
GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE | Join us for an evening of worship on Friday April 7th at 6:30pm as we remember and reflect on the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on the cross for us. Together we will worship through song, prayer, and through the reading of God’s word. We will also partake in the Lord’s Supper as well.
EASTER BRUNCH | Join us for bunch on Easter Sunday, April 9th, at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall. This is a great opportunity to fellowship together before service, visit with someone you don’t know, and enjoy a light breakfast before we worship our risen savior together in the Assembly Hall. SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, April 10th, at 11:30am in the RLC Fellowship Hall. The food is provided, and we’ll be writing messages of encouragement to those who are shut-ins or recovering from illness. Please join us for fellowship and fun and bring a friend. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we get a good count for the food.
MONTHLY WOMEN’S DINNER | On the second Thursday of every month at 6 PM, the Women of Redeeming Life are gathering at Black Bear Dinner in Woods Cross (2474 S 575 W, Woods Cross, UT, 84010) for dinner and fellowship. All women are welcome so bring your daughters, your friends, and neighbors. This will be a good time of fellowship and food. All women are responsible for their own meal.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church ladies back.
CLASS HOUR | Beginning April 16th, we will be starting a new class hour on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am. There are classes for kids from birth through high school and four different adult studies as well. Sign-Up in the Lobby or check out Realm for more details.
WE NEED HELP IN THE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY | Here’s a great opportunity to serve and teach the gospel to the next generation of the Church. Please consider volunteering in the Nursery, Pre-K, or older kids’ classes. We also need people to monitor the cameras on an iPad during the service or serve as the Children’s Ministry Assistant. Service will be on rotation, certainly not every week or as often as you might think. Please contact Pastor Josiah for more info.

You can even save it during our service time and come back to it later. Find our Event in the YouVersion Bible App.
