Announcement of Ministries 4/23/2023
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing O Church Arise, Christ Our Hope In Life and Death, New Doxology, and Christ the Fount. Pastor Bryan is continuing our sermon series entitled “Contend for YOUR Faith” centered on the book of Jude. Pastor Bryan will be preaching part two this week from Jude 1:22-23, and we will respond to the preached word by spending time in corporate prayer together.
CLASS HOUR | For those interested in growing in their faith, we have a class hour on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am before our 11:00am Worship Gathering. These classes cover a wide array of various subjects. There are classes for kids from birth through high school and four different adult studies as well. More details can be found on Realm or you can contact one of our pastors with any questions.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on April 30th. We will be presenting new members, sharing those who are no longer in covenant membership, and voting to affirm Terry McIlvain for the vacancy position on our Church Council.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
SECURITY TEAM | Interested in joining the Redeeming Life Security Team? Members of this team serve as parking lot greeters, watch cameras, and welcome those showing up a little late. There are some other tasks that may come up from time to time. If you’re interested, please let Pastor Josiah know.
TEXT GIVING | If you would like to worship through faithful giving and use text messaging to do it, send “RLC” to 73256 for a form you can use from your phone. You will promptly receive a response with instructions and a secure link to follow. The system will send you a secure link to complete your transaction and send you a giving receipt. This will also allow your donation to be tracked in our system so we can provide you with tax info in January.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Pastors and ministry staff, a Fellowship Group leader, a Worship Team leader, or other Redeeming Life member to discuss what it means to be a Christian. We’d love to try to answer any questions you might have and pray with you.

SALTYBELIEVER.COM | Pastor Bryan keeps a website called SaltyBeliever.com. The site features lots of Bible study and discipleship resources, videos, classes, and podcast called “Salty Believer Unscripted.”
