Announcement of Ministries 6/25/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing The Great Exchange, We Are One, and O, Church Arise. We will also be continuing our series through the book of Romans as Pastor Bryan delivers a message centered on Romans 12:3-8, and we will respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
RADIUS CONFERENCE LIVE-STREAM | Join us on June 28th & 29th for the Radius Conference Live-Stream. We've purchased the streaming package so we can hear the speakers, enjoy food, and discuss the content together at the church building. The speakers include John MacArthur, Paul Washer, Costi Hin, Brooks Buser, Brad Buser, Wayne Chen, Chad Vagas, and Aubrey Sequeira. (Session Times & Details Can Be Found on Ream)
Please RSVP so we know how many we'll have for lunch on both days. If you RSVP, we'll have food (likely pizza and tacos), drinks, and snacks for you.
There is no child-care available and children cannot be left in a back room unattended. Please plan for your younger children to have childcare off-site. Kids old enough to pay attention and enjoy the conference speaker's message are welcome to join us.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
CLASS HOUR | For those interested in growing in their faith, we have a class hour on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am before our 11:00am Worship Gathering. These classes cover a wide array of various subjects. There are classes for kids from birth through high school and four different adult studies as well. FUELED UP FAMILIES | Fueled-Up Families is a three-day event July 28th - July 30th, centered on helping families flourish in God’s plan for family. During each session, parents, their kids & teens will have the opportunity to learn more about the Gospel, how to address bombarding voices in the world around us, and the importance of following Christ together as a family. While the kids and teens enjoy learning, making crafts, and playing games, parents will benefit from a conference-style setting where they will hear from our Pastors and discuss impactful tools to help equip their family to live for and follow Christ together as a family. HELP NEEDED IN CHILDREN’S MINISTRY (9:30am CLASS HOUR) | This is a great opportunity and easy way to serve parents and bless our families before our 11:00am worship service. We are looking for volunteers who love holding babies, passing out goldfish, and making sure our pre-school children do not eat any crayons during our 9:30am Class Hour. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Pastor Josiah today. (All volunteers are required to complete a background check.)

WHO ARE WE? | We are a church that hopes to see our community redeemed by the power of the gospel. Redeeming Life Church exists to know, live, and proclaim the gospel. We believe the God’s Word from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the inerrant story of the redemptive history of God—otherwise known as the gospel. To be people who are immersed in knowing, living, and proclaiming the gospel, we read, pray, sing, and preach God’s word.
