Announcement of Ministries 8/20/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing Colossians 1, Jesus Paid It All, I Surrender All, and Yet Not I, But Through Christ In Me. We will also be continuing our series “Put On Christ” this Sunday as Pastor Josiah delivers a message centered on Galatians 2:20 and we will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
PIZZA WITH THE PASTORS | Are you new to Redeeming Life Church? Do you have questions? Join our pastors for lunch, conversation, and story sharing. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our church and get to know our staff. Our next Pizza with the Pastors is August 27th, following the Sunday morning service, at the church building. If you’re interested, please let Pastor Bryan or Pastor Josiah know so we can be sure to have lunch for you!
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
GREETERS NEEDED | We are looking for faithful servants who would like to open doors, assist seniors, direct families to check in, welcome guest, and be a friendly face to welcome our church on Sunday mornings. If you’re interested and feel that God might be calling you to serve our faith-family, please contact Pastor Josiah.

MINISTER IN RESIDENCE | In an effort to train up local pastors, we raise money to bring them on staff or help pay for their education, or both. REALM | We use an online medium called Realm to stay informed and connected throughout the week. You can join groups that offer much more in your Christian journey. There’s a group for prayer requests, another for more Biblical study. There are fellowship groups and community connection groups. There’s also an app for easy mobile use. If you are not yet on Realm, you can sign up at https://onrealm.org/rlc. If you sign up through the App, the “Invitation Code” is “rlc”.
SERMONS ON ALEXA | Do you have an Amazon Echo Dot or Alexa app? If so, you can say, “Alexa, play sermons from Redeeming Life Church podcast” and hear the latest sermons recently preached at Redeeming Life Church.
SALTYBELIEVER.COM | Pastor Bryan keeps a website called SaltyBeliever.com. The site features lots of Bible study and discipleship resources, videos, classes, and podcast called “Salty Believer Unscripted.”
