Announcement of Ministries 8/6/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing This Is Our God, He Will Hold Me Fast, Jesus Thank-You, and Yet Not I But Christ In Me. We will also be continuing our new series entitled “Put On Christ.” This Sunday, Pastor Bryan will be preaching a message centered on Deuteronomy 6:4-9, and we will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
INTERN APPRECIATION | Our Summer Youth Internship has officially ended. Our Youth Interns worked hard this summer sharing the gospel, praying for our community, reading their Bibles, studying systematic theology, working on various tasks around the building, assisting our Pastors with the summer mission teams, and helping with so much more! Thank-you Summer Interns for all your hard work this summer! We are praying for you and your continued gospel witness in the community as you begin this next school year.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, August 14th, at 11:30am in the RLC Fellowship Hall. The food is provided, and we’ll be writing messages of encouragement to those who are shut-ins or recovering from illness. Please join us for fellowship and fun and bring a friend. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we get a good count for the food.
