Announcement of Ministries 9/10/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing All Creatures Of Our God And King, Christ Is All, and The Great Exchange. We will be continuing our series through the book of Romans, as Pastor Josiah delivers a message on Romans 14:1-12, and we will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, September 11th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the Lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
PIZZA WITH THE PASTORS | Are you new to Redeeming Life Church? Do you have questions about our church? Join our pastors for lunch, informal conversation, and story sharing. Our next Pizza with the Pastors is September 24th, following the Sunday morning service, at the church building. If you’re interested, please RSVP on Realm or Sign-Up in the Lobby today.
SECURITY TEAM | Interested in joining the Redeeming Life Security Team? Members of this team serve as parking lot greeters, watch cameras, and welcome those showing up a little late. There are some other tasks that may come up from time to time. If you’re interested, please let Pastor Bryan or Pastor Josiah know.
KEEP UP WITH WHAT’S HAPPENING | Realm has email options that serve to keep you informed with what’s happening at Redeeming Life. Select your settings so you get everything in a specific group, just updates, or a daily digest (one email per day with a summary). The mobile app has options for push notifications. Realm is our official location for church announcements so if you want to keep up with what’s happening, Realm is where it’s at.
ONLINE GIVING | If you would like to worship through faithful giving and give online, log into your Realm account and select the giving tab. If you’re not a Realm user, you may visit https://onrealm.org/rlc/give/now. We appreciate your faithful giving and we hope you might consider setting up a reoccurring giving schedule.
MINISTER IN RESIDENCE | In an effort to train up local pastors, we raise money to bring them on staff or help pay for their education, or both. If you’d like to give in addition to your faith-giving, you can give to the Minister in Residence fund in Realm or to https://onrealm.org/rlc/give/MIR. We greatly appreciate one-time gifts and reoccurring commitments. You can also give by texting "RLC residence” to 73256 for a form you can use from your phone. You will promptly receive a response with instructions and a secure link to follow.
SERMONS ON ALEXA | Do you have an Amazon Echo Dot or Alexa app? If so, you can say, “Alexa, play sermons from Redeeming Life Church podcast” and hear the latest sermons recently preached at Redeeming Life Church.
