PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing God Is For Us, Turn Your Eyes, How Great Thou Art, Is He Worthy, and I Stand Amazed. We are continuing our sermon series “Seeds of The Church” as Pastor Jeff Winters from one of our partner churches delivers a message centered on Acts 9:1-31, and we will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
LADIES’ CRAFT NIGHT | It is time for another Ladies' Craft Night! Bring a friend and a snack to share and join us for some fun and fellowship Thursday, November 7th at 6:30p.m. All ladies 13 and older are welcome. For more information or to RSVP, please visit Realm.
BUDGET Q&A MEETING | Our Covenant Members are voting on our 2025 budget at the November 10th Family Meeting. Each member will receive a copy of the proposed budget after our 11:00am worship service, and it will be posted on REALM as well. That afternoon at 3:30pm, Sunday, November 10th, the Church Council and Finance Team are hosting a Q&A meeting to answer any questions. This will be the chief time for discussion to help keep the Family Meeting on schedule. Please RSVP on Realm if you plan on attending the Q&A meeting.
FAMILY MEETING & THANKSGIVING DINNER | Our next family meeting is November 10th from 4:30pm-7:00pm. This meeting will be a pot-luck-style Thanksgiving meal. We will affirm the budget, vote on church council members, and affirm new members into covenant membership. There will also be an Q&A informational meeting for those who would like to discuss the budget in more detail or ask questions that might not concern the larger body of members at 3:30pm that same day prior to our family meeting.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, November 11th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
THANK YOU FOR GIVING | Thank you for your faithful giving on Sunday, by mail, text giving, and on Realm. Your faithfulness keeps our ministry serving the Kingdom. Thank you!
ACTS 11 FUND | In Acts 11, the church in Antioch took up an offering to help the brothers and sisters in the church in Jerusalem. A famine hit the community and they were struggling. We use our “Acts 11 Fund” to help brothers and sisters in need. If you would like to donate to the Acts 11 Fund, log into your Realm account and select the giving tab. Select the Acts 11 Fund in the dropdown options. If you’re not a Realm user, you may visit https://onrealm.org/rlc/give/now. You may also give my check or cash in a marked envelope. Be sure to indicate “Acts 11” on the memo line. We appreciate your faithful giving.
WHO ARE WE? | We are a church that hopes to see our community redeemed by the power of the gospel. Redeeming Life Church exists to know, live, and proclaim the gospel. We believe the God’s Word from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the inerrant story of the redemptive history of God—otherwise known as the gospel. To be people who are immersed in knowing, living, and proclaiming the gospel, we read, pray, sing, and preach God’s word.
NEED PRAYER? | Do you have a prayer request and would like our pastoral staff to pray for you? You may email your prayer requests to Prayer@RedeemingLifeUtah.org or text (385) 368-6665.
