High Wind Help

You may have seen the Davis County warnings for down-sloping winds in the Wasatch Front.   You may also recall the last time we had these winds.  Lots of trees went down because the direction and speed of the wind is unusual.  The warnings are predicting power outages.  That likely means many may also be without internet access.  We don’t want problems connecting members who could help with members who needed help.

IF THERE ARE HIGH WINDS AND PROBLEMS, our two primary means of central communication will be comments on a Community Connection post in Realm (if you have access to the internet) AND a phone call our church cell line at (385) 368-6665.  If there’s no answer, please leave a message.  Write the number down or be sure you have a worship time card with the number in case you can’t get it later.  You can also try texting.   Pastor Josiah will have the church mobile phone at his house tonight and tomorrow.

If you need help or if you have a chainsaw and time to help once we learn if it's needed, please post on Realm AND call.

Also, pray that none of this is necessary and this storm is no big deal.  This is only a precaution in the event that we have people with downed trees and no power again.
