“The New Master” (Matthew 11:25-30)
How do you know God? What does it mean to make Christ your Master? What’s a yoke? What does it look like to learn from Christ? Pastor Bryan Catherman, in his sermon, “The New Master” (Matthew 11:25-30), answers these questions while explaining what it means to make Christ your Master.
Christ wants us to recognize Him as the Lord and Master of our life. In this Matthew 11 text, Jesus issues a timeless invitation to come to Him and to find rest in Him. But He doesn’t stop there. He then calls us to listen to Him by being His disciples. A right relationship with God the Father is the ultimate goal. And in order to do that we must go to Christ. Listen to the sermon here:
