Announcement of Ministries 7/7/2024
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing This Is Our God, In Christ Alone, Christ the True & Better, and Tis’ So Sweet To Trust In Jesus. We will be continuing our sermon series “Be The Church” as Pastor Josiah delivers a message centered on 1 Timothy 1:18-2:7. We will also respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
CLASS HOUR | For those interested in growing in their faith, we have a class hour on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am before our 11:00am Worship Gathering. These classes cover a wide array of various subjects. There are classes for kids from birth through high school and four different adult studies as well. More details can be found on Realm, or you can contact one of our pastors with any questions.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, July 8th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
LADIES’ CRAFT NIGHT | Join our ladies’ for a craft night in the Fellowship Hall Thursday July 11th at 6:30pm. Bring a friend and a snack to share and join other ladies in a collective craft and time of fellowship and fun. All ladies 13 and older are welcome. FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on July 14th. We will be sharing a quick financial update and voting to affirm a new member on our Church Council.
TEXT GIVING | If you would like to worship through faithful giving and use text messaging to do it, send “RLC” to 73256 for a form you can use from your phone. You will promptly receive a response with instructions and a secure link to follow. The system will send you a secure link to complete your transaction and send you a giving receipt. This will also allow your donation to be tracked in our system so we can provide you with tax info in January.
GREETERS NEEDED | We are looking for faithful servants who would like to open doors, assist seniors, direct families to check in, welcome guest, and be a friendly face to welcome our church on Sunday mornings. If you’re interested and feel that God might be calling you to serve our faith-family, please contact Pastor Josiah.
