Announcement of Ministries 9/1/2024
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing Be Thou My Vision, All Creatures of Out God and King, O For A Thousand Tongues To Sing, Holy Holy Holy, and In Christ Alone. We are beginning a new sermon series in the book of Acts entitled, “Seeds of The Church” as Pastor Josiah delivers a message centered on Acts 1:1-11. We will also respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
LADIES’ CRAFT NIGHT | Join our ladies’ for a craft night in the Fellowship Hall Thursday, September 5th at 6:30pm. Bring a friend and a snack to share and join other ladies in a collective craft and time of fellowship and fun. All ladies 13 and older are welcome. MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
DINNER IN THE PARK | Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and join us on Sunday September 8th at 5:00pm. for an evening of fun and fellowship as we enjoy dinner and games together at Bountiful City Park (400 N 200 W). Each person/family is responsible for their own dinner. Swing through your favorite drive thru or fill up that picnic basket and we’ll see you there.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, September 9th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
[r]KID'S! FAMILY EVENT – POPSICLES IN THE PARK | Join us in saying goodbye to summer with some cool treats and fun in the shade on Friday September 13th at 6:30pm-8:00pm at Bountiful Town Square. We’ll enjoy delicious popsicles, play yard games, and spend some quality time together! Bring A blanket or chairs for lounging. Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors—let’s make this a big family affair! See you at the park!
