Announcement of Ministries 9/29/24
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing, Christ Is All, Christ Our Hope In Life & Death, Yet Not I But Christ Through Me, and All I Have Is Christ. We are continuing our sermon series “Seeds of The Church” as Pastor Josiah delivers a message centered on Acts 4:32-5:11, and we will take part in the Lord’s Supper together.
NEXTGEN (YOUTH) MID-WEEK BIBLE STUDY | We are starting up a mid-week Bible Study for all students (13-18 years old) on Tuesday nights from 6:00pm-7:30pm beginning Tuesday October 1st, here at the church building. Grab a Bible and a friend and we’ll see you there
LADIES’ BUNCO NIGHT | It is time for another Ladies' Bunco Night! Bring a friend and a snack to share and join us for some fun and fellowship Thursday, October 3rdat 6:30 p.m.

MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on October 13th. We will be presenting members for your examination to serve on your church council, share a quick financial update as well as an update on members, and announce some dates for budget conversations prior to the November family meeting and vote on the budget.
CLASS HOUR | For those interested in growing in their faith, we have a class hour on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am before our 11:00am Worship Gathering. These classes cover a wide array of various subjects. There are classes for kids from birth through high school and four different adult studies as well. More details can be found on Realm, or you can contact one of our pastors with any questions.
SECURITY TEAM | Interested in joining the Redeeming Life Security Team? Members of this team serve as parking lot greeters, watch cameras, and welcome those showing up a little late. There are some other tasks that may come up from time to time. If you’re interested, please let Pastor Josiah know.
