Announcement of Ministries 9/8/24
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing 10,000 Reasons, Every Promise, Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus, The Church’s One Foundation, and He Will Hold Me Fast. We are continuing our new sermon series in the book of Acts entitled, “Seeds of The Church” as Pastor Josiah delivers a message centered on Acts 1:12-26. We will also respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
DINNER IN THE PARK | Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and join us on Sunday September 8th at 5:00pm. for an evening of fun and fellowship as we enjoy dinner and games together at Bountiful City Park (400 N 200 W). Each person/family is responsible for their own dinner. Swing through your favorite drive thru or fill up that picnic basket and we’ll see you there.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, September 9th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
[R]KIDS! FAMILY EVENT – POPSICLES IN THE PARK | Join us in saying goodbye to summer with some cool treats and fun in the shade on Friday September 13th at 6:30pm-8:00pm at Bountiful Town Square. We’ll enjoy delicious popsicles, play yard games, and spend some quality time together!
Bring A blanket or chairs for lounging. Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors—let’s make this a big family affair! See you at the park!
PIZZA WITH THE PASTORS | Are you new to Redeeming Life Church? Do you have questions about our church? If so, you’re invited to join Pastor Josiah and Robbie for lunch, conversation and story sharing. Our next Pizza with the Pastors is September 15th, following the Sunday morning service, at the church building. If you’re interested, please let our staff know so we can be sure to have lunch for you by signing up in the lobby or RSVPing on Realm.
GREETERS NEEDED | We are looking for faithful servants who would like to open doors, assist seniors, direct families to check in, welcome guest, and be a friendly face to welcome our church on Sunday mornings. If you’re interested and feel that God might be calling you to serve our faith-family, please contact Pastor Josiah.
