Update: What You Should Know Before the Launch
Hey Church Family!
Our public launch in Rose Park is quickly approaching and there are a lot of exciting things happening that we want you to be aware of.
First, please be praying for our Easter Sunrise Service on April 5th at 7:30am. We are distributing 5,000 door hangers throughout the surrounding neighborhood with an invite to the service as well as a gospel message on the back. Please plan to attend, invite friends and family, and be praying we see many people respond to the gospel.
For the remaining three Sundays in April, we will NOT be having our regularly scheduled evening service at 4pm. Instead, we will be having our service at our new location, the Northwest Community Center, at 11am!
We believe that God is going to do something great in the Rose Park area and we want to position ourselves to be ready. Initially, we had talked about having the 11am service and continuing the 4pm service as well but after some prayer and dialogue with the leadership team, we believe it’s in the church’s best interest to pray a lot in April, have one service, and be well rested and ready to hit the ground running once we launch on May 3rd. (Also, we'll still be preaching from the final chapters of Romans those three mornings in April.)
This shift will not only allows us time to pray in our space, it will give us an opportunity to work out the kinks setting up and taking down everything needed for our weekly service.
The set up team will meet at Pastor Bryan's house to load up the geer. Then we'll set up at 9:30am. At 10am we'll stop what we're doing and gather for our prayer meeting. Our service starts at 11am.
Before our public launch, our worship gathering will consist of some worship, a shorter sermon, and an extended time in prayer. Please join us! This new time will not be publicly announced (other than on this website) but it is open to all our church family and anyone in the community that is interested and available to join us.
