A Basic Children's Ministry to Start Soon

We are getting ready to start a basic children's ministry at Redeeming Life Church. For now, it will consist of a Nursery (0-potty trained) and a Pre-K through 2nd Grade class offered on Sunday mornings during our worship service. The Nursery will open 10 minutes before our service starts (assuming the volunteers are on time). The Pre-K through 2nd Grade kiddos will be released from the sanctuary after the musical worship but before the sermon.

We'll set up a children's check-in computer that prints name/security tags with a corresponding security number tag for parents. Security cameras and a monitoring system will be installed. We'll be sure the rooms are safe and easily sanitizable for bacteria and virus safety. And there will be two screened and trained volunteers in each room.

To make this ministry happen, we need faithful, reliable volunteers.

Our volunteers will work on a rotation, with the goal of a once-per-month commitment. They will have an appropriate background check and training, agree to follow all of our COVID safety protocols, and (in the future) be covenant members of Redeeming Life Church.
