Announcement of Ministries for 2/14/2021

LADIES THURSDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP GROUP | Starting Thursday, March 4th at 6:30 PM at the church building, the ladies will gather for a study through the book, Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin.  Not only will this Women’s Fellowship Group be a wonderful opportunity to connect with other women, it will supply training to better study the Word of God.  For more information, please contact Lisa, Meg, or visit the Women of Redeeming Life Group on Realm.

CONFESSION OF BELIEFS STUDY AND FELLOWSHIP GROUP | Starting Sunday, February 21st at 6:30 PM, Pastor Bryan will lead a 13-week study through each section of our Statement of Beliefs, also exploring what the Baptist Faith and Message and other statements of faith say on the same topic.  Starting with a great deal of Scripture, each week will take a specific area of theology as the topic of discussion and study.  We’ll meet in the Fellowship Hall and it will be available on Zoom.  (We won’t meet on Easter.)  If you are interested, please let Pastor Bryan know and find the Realm Group (Confession of Beliefs Study) and join.

INSTAGRAM | The fun thing about our Instagram account is the info we share.  Want to keep up with the comings and goings of our faith-family?  Follow us on Instagram!

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER FELLOWSHIP GROUP | Drop by the Loft at Lee’s MarketPlace at 4th West (255 North 400 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84103) on Wednesdays between 7:15 and 8:15 AM for prayer and fellowship.  Stay the whole time or drop in for a couple minutes on your way to work—either is okay.  And why not get a cup of coffee and food too?  Find the Upper Room Realm Group or connect with Pastor Robbie for more info.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TO START SOON | The Elders are targeting February 21st as our start date for Sunday morning nursery and a children’s class (potty-trained though 2nd grade).  Our children’s ministry admin team is building a schedule of volunteers right now, the check-in computer and tag printer is almost ready, and cameras are getting set up.  It’s not too late to get your background check done and get on the rotation of teachers and volunteers.  The nursery will be open from 10 minutes before the service starts to 5 minutes after the closing prayer.  The kids heading to the class will be dismissed from the sanctuary before the start of the sermon.  Find more info or get you and your kids ready for check in on Realm by joining the [r] Kids group and creating a profile for your kiddos.

BAPTISM | If you would like to follow Jesus in believer’s baptism, please let us know.  Our next baptism service is tentatively scheduled for March 14th.

ONLINE GIVING | If you would like to worship through faithful giving and give online, log into your Realm account and select the giving tab.  If you’re not a Realm user, you may visit https://onrealm.org/rlc/give/now.   We appreciate your faithful giving and we hope you might consider setting up a reoccurring giving schedule.

WHO ARE WE? | We are a church that hopes to see our community redeemed by the power of the gospel.  Redeeming Life Church exists to know, live, and proclaim the gospel.  We believe the God’s Word from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the inerrant story of the redemptive history of God—otherwise known as the gospel.  To be people who are immersed in knowing, living, and proclaiming the gospel, we follow the instructions of Christ to love God, love people, and make disciples.

NEED PRAYER? | Do you have a prayer request and would like our pastoral staff to pray for you?  You may email your prayer requests to Prayer@RedeemingLifeUtah.org or text (385) 368-6665.

CONNECTION CARDS | You’ll find two kinds of Connection Cards at the church building.  One is a large card you can write on and leave in the offering/connection box.  It’s used for updating your information, requesting information, or sharing prayer requests.  The other Connection Card is a bookmark with important contact information printed on the back.  You’ll find links to join Realm, sign up for RightNow Media, share prayer requests, contact the pastors, and more.  Please share these bookmarks with your friends.

QUESTIONS ABOUT FOLLOWING JESUS? | If you have questions about what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ, we would like to help.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Pastors and ministry staff, a Fellowship Group leader, a Worship Team leader, or other Redeeming Life member to discuss what it means to be a Christian.  We’d love to try to answer any questions you might have and pray with you.
