Announcement of Ministries for 2/7/2021

CONFESSION OF BELIEFS STUDY | Starting Sunday, February 21st at 6:30 PM, Pastor Bryan will lead a 13-week study through each section of our Statement of Beliefs, also exploring what the Baptist Faith and Message and other statements of faith say on the same topic. Starting with a great deal of Scripture, each week will take a specific area of theology as the topic of discussion and study. We’ll meet in the Fellowship Hall and it will be available on Zoom. (We won’t meet on Easter.) If you are interested, please let Pastor Bryan know and find the Realm Group (Confession of Beliefs Study) and join.

MISSION TO NASHVILLE | It's not too late to join the mission team headed to work with refugees in Nashville.  The trip is June 26-July 3rd.  We'll be working with our Nashville partners to serve a large refugee community, and we'll also spend a day doing some mission work in the heart of Nashville, engaging the city and the entertainment and music community.  If you are interested, please contact Pastor Bryan.

SERMONS ON ALEXA | Do you have an Amazon Echo Dot or Alexa app? If so, you can say, “Alexa, play sermons from Redeeming Life Church podcast” and hear the latest sermons recently preached at Redeeming Life Church.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TO START SOON | The Elders are targeting February 21st as our start date for Sunday morning nursery and a children’s class (potty-trained though 2nd grade). Our children’s ministry admin team is building a schedule of volunteers right now, the check-in computer and tag printer is almost ready, and cameras are getting set up. It’s not too late to get your background check done and get on the rotation of teachers and volunteers. The nursery will be open from 10 minutes before the service starts to 5 minutes after the closing prayer. The kids heading to the class will be dismissed from the sanctuary before the start of the sermon. Find more info or get you and your kids ready for check in on Realm.

BAPTISM | If you would like to follow Jesus in believer’s baptism, please let us know. Our next baptism service is tentatively scheduled for March 14th.

MISSION RESOURCES | Every disciple should be seeking to make disciples as we follow Jesus. To help equip you to engage in the work of the Great Commission, we provide free materials on Resource Tables in the back of the sanctuary and on the Connection Counter. The resources are free and may help you faithfully make disciples of Jesus Christ.

WHO ARE WE? | We are a church that hopes to see our community redeemed by the power of the gospel. Redeeming Life Church exists to know, live, and proclaim the gospel. We believe the God’s Word from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the inerrant story of the redemptive history of God—otherwise known as the gospel. To be people who are immersed in knowing, living, and proclaiming the gospel, we follow the instructions of Christ to love God, love people, and make disciples.

REALM | We use an online medium called Realm to stay informed and connected throughout the week. You can join groups that offer much more in your Christian journey. There’s a group for prayer requests, another for more Biblical study. There are fellowship groups and community connection groups. There’s also an app for easy mobile use. If you are not yet on Realm, you can sign up at https://onrealm.org/rlc.

NEED PRAYER? | Do you have a prayer request and would like our pastoral staff to pray for you? You may email your prayer requests to Prayer@RedeemingLifeUtah.org or text (385) 368-6665.

YOUR NEXT STEPS | We believe the Christian journey at Redeeming Life Church is a wonderful way for you to grow as a Christian and get involved with our faith-family at Redeeming Life Church. Are you taking the next step in your journey? What’s your next step? 1. Worship weekly with the faith-family. 2. Engage in weekly Bible study with others. 3. Join a Fellowship Group. 4 Serve the faith-family. 5. Live on mission. Are you willing to take the next simple step on your journey with Jesus?

QUESTIONS ABOUT FOLLOWING JESUS? | If you have questions about what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ, we would like to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Pastors and ministry staff, a Fellowship Group leader, a Worship Team leader, or other Redeeming Life member to discuss what it means to be a Christian. We’d love to try to answer any questions you might have and pray with you.
