Q & A: Did Jesus Condescended?

[R] Q&A_mic.jpg

The song Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery has an interesting line in the first verse: "Look to Christ Who condescended, took on flesh to ransom us." What does it mean that Jesus condescended? Was Christ reluctant to come to earth? Did He have a haughty attitude in doing so? Was all of this beneath him? What does that line mean?

In this Redeeming Life: Q&A video, Pastor Robbie Tschorn examines the line and discusses what might be behind it.

In addition, you can hear the entire song,  Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery by Matt Boswell, Matt Papa, and Michael Bleecker here:
