Announcement of Ministries, 6/26

FUELED UP FAMILIES | June 27-29 from 6 PM to 8 PM.  Fueled Up Families is a 3-night parent’s conference designed to help families flourish in the God’s plan for family.  There’s learning, activities, and games for the entire family.  Each night features a catered meal that we’ll enjoy together.  Then we’ll send the kids to age-appropriate classes and the parents will hear from our Pastors on topics like how the gospel impacts families, identity, and how families can follow Jesus together.  Visit https://bit.ly/3Gk9q31 to register.  (Remember, each person and child attending must be registered.)

PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the Text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ.  On Sunday, we’ll sing Christ Our Hope in Life and Death, Come Behold the Wonderous Mystery, Nothing But the Blood, and In Christ Alone. Pastor Bryan will preach Romans 3:9-20, and we’ll respond by partaking the Lord’s Supper together.

FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on July 10th.  We will vote to affirm Josiah Walker as an Elder, share some recommendations for Deacons, and discuss other church-related business.

BAPTISM | If you would like to follow Jesus in believer’s baptism, please let us know.  We’d love to help you faithfully follow Jesus.

FAMILY WORSHIP SERVICE | With so many traveling and out of town on July 3rd, there will be no children’s ministry offered.  However, we will have snacks and coloring sheets available and we’ll be mindful of the kids in the service to make it an enjoyable family worship.

MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 9 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Ramblin’ Roads restaurant (544 W 400 N, Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship.   Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.

NEXTGEN (YOUTH) MOVING TO SUNDAYS | Starting July 10th, NextGen is moving to Sunday nights.  They’ll still meet at the church building from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, and they’ll continue their journey through the book of John. Please see more info on Realm or direct your questions to Pastor Josiah.

ACTS 11 FUND | In Acts 11, the church in Antioch took up an offering to help the brothers and sisters in the church in Jerusalem.  A famine hit the community and they were struggling.  We use our “Acts 11 Fund” to help brothers and sisters in need. Right now, our fund is low. If you would like to donate to the Acts 11 Fund, log into your Realm account and select the giving tab.  Select the Acts 11 Fund in the dropdown options.  If you’re not a Realm user, you may visit https://onrealm.org/rlc/give/now.  You may also give my check or cash in a marked envelope.  Be sure to indicate “Acts 11” on the memo line. We appreciate your faithful giving.

MEMBERSHIP | Are you ready to join our faith-family and serve on God’s mission with Redeeming Life Church?  If so, please contact Pastor Bryan about your next steps to become a member of Redeeming Life Church.

YOUVERSION BIBLE APP | Do you use the YouVersion Bible App?  Did you know Redeeming Life provides and Event with Scriptures and other information so you can follow along with the sermon?  You can even save it during our service time and come back to it later.  Find our Event in the YouVersion Bible App.

WHO ARE WE? | We are a church that hopes to see our community redeemed by the power of the gospel.  Redeeming Life Church exists to know, live, and proclaim the gospel.  We believe the God’s Word from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the inerrant story of the redemptive history of God—otherwise known as the gospel.  To be people who are immersed in knowing, living, and proclaiming the gospel, we follow the instructions of Christ to love God, love people, and make disciples.
