Announcement of Ministries 7/2/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing We Are One, Jesus Is Our Righteousness, I Stand Amazed (My Savior’s Love), and Great Is Your Faithfulness. We will also be continuing our series through the book of Romans as Pastor Bryan delivers a message centered on Romans 12:9-21, and we will respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
CLASS HOUR | For those interested in growing in their faith, we have a class hour on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am before our 11:00am Worship Gathering. These classes cover a wide array of various subjects. There are classes for kids from birth through high school and four different adult studies as well. More details can be found on Realm, or you can contact one of our pastors with any questions. New Classes Start THIS Sunday July 2nd!
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, July 10th, at 11:30am in the RLC Fellowship Hall. The food is provided, and we’ll be writing messages of encouragement to those who are shut-ins or recovering from illness. Please join us for fellowship and fun and bring a friend. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we get a good count for the food.
MONTHLY WOMEN’S DINNER | On the second Thursday of every month at 6 PM, the Women of Redeeming Life are gathering at Black Bear Dinner in Woods Cross (2474 S 575 W, Woods Cross, UT, 84010) for dinner and fellowship. All women are welcome so bring your daughters, your friends, and neighbors. This will be a good time of fellowship and food. All women are responsible for their own meal.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church ladies back.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on July 16th. We will be presenting new members, sharing those who are no longer in membership, and sharing a short financial update.
FUELED UP FAMILIES | Fueled-Up Families is a three-day event July 28th - July 30th, centered on helping families flourish in God’s plan for family. During each session, parents, their kids & teens will have the opportunity to learn more about the Gospel, how to address bombarding voices in the world around us, and the importance of following Christ together as a family. While the kids and teens enjoy learning, making crafts, and playing games, parents will benefit from a conference-style setting where they will hear from our Pastors and discuss impactful tools to help equip their family to live for and follow Christ together as a family. HELP NEEDED IN KID'S MINISTRY (9:30am CLASS HOUR) | This is a great opportunity and easy way to serve parents and bless our families before our 11:00am worship service. We are looking for volunteers who love holding babies, passing out goldfish, and making sure our pre-school children do not eat any crayons during our 9:30am Class Hour. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Pastor Josiah today. (All volunteers are required to complete a background check.)
