Announcement of Ministries 6/4/23
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing 10,000 Reasons, All I Have Is Christ, His Mercy Is More, and He Will Hold Me Fast. We will be continuing our series through the book of Romans as Pastor Bryan delivers a message centered on Romans 11:11-32 and we will respond to the preached word by observing the Lord’s Supper together.
WORSHIP & PRAYER NIGHT | Join us for an evening of worship and prayer tonight, Sunday June 4th, at 6:30pm in the Assembly Hall.
MONTHLY WOMEN’S DINNER | On the second Thursday of every month at 6 PM, the Women of Redeeming Life are gathering at Black Bear Dinner in Woods Cross (2474 S 575 W, Woods Cross, UT, 84010) for dinner and fellowship. All women are welcome so bring your daughters, your friends, and neighbors. This will be a good time of fellowship and food. All women are responsible for their own meal.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church ladies back.
DINNER IN THE PARK | Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and join us on Sunday June 11th at 5:00pm. for an evening of fun and fellowship as we enjoy dinner and games together at Bountiful City Park (400 N 200 W).
Each person/family is responsible for their own dinner. Swing through your favorite drive thru or fill up that picnic basket and we’ll see you there.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, January 10th, at 11:30am in the RLC Fellowship Hall. The food is provided, and we’ll be writing messages of encouragement to those who are shut-ins or recovering from illness. Please join us for fellowship and fun and bring a friend. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we get a good count for the food.
SUMMER YOUTH INTERNSHIP | Do you have a teenager who is interested in learning more about ministry? This July we will be hosting a Summer Youth Internship for teenagers entering the 8th grade through 12thgrade next year. Registration closes on June 18th. CSB BIBLE TRANSLATION | While we love many Bible translations at Redeeming Life Church, officially, we preach out of the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) most of the time. It’s not that we think this translation is perfect or the best, but that we settled on a specific translation, so you could bring a Bible and follow along if that’s your preference. We also like both the CSB Study Bible and the ESV Study Bible, although we don’t argue that either are perfect.
SALTYBELIEVER.COM | Pastor Bryan keeps a website called SaltyBeliever.com. The site features lots of Bible study and discipleship resources, videos, classes, and podcast called “Salty Believer Unscripted.”
