Announcement of Ministries 6/9/2024
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing God Is For Us, Colossians 1, Good & Gracious King, and He Will Hold Me Fast. Pastor Josiah will be preaching a stand-alone message centered on John 15:1-8 and there will be a short Family Meeting for our covenant members directly after service.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on Sunday June 9th. We will be presenting a new member who would like to join our church in covenant membership and there will be a call for a vote on whether or not to affirm Pastor Josiah as our Lead Elder and Senior Pastor.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, June 10th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
LADIES’ BUNCO | It is time for another Ladies' Bunco Night! Bring a friend and a snack to share and join us for some fun and fellowship Thursday, June 13th at 6:00 p.m. (All ladies 13 and older are welcome.) Visit Realm for more information or to RSVP for this event.
THANK-YOU CATHERMANS | Join us on Friday June 14th at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall to say thank-you to the Cathermans for their faithful service to our church and share memories together before we send them out later this month to advance God’s kingdom and continue serving on mission in Nebraska and around the world.
FUELED UP FAMILIES | Grab your kids/teens and join us for Fueled-Up Families! (June 19th,20th, and 21st) Fueled-Up Families is a three-night event centered on helping families flourish in God’s plan for the family. During each session, parents, along with their kids & teens will have the opportunity to learn more about the Gospel, how to overcome difficulties in uncertain times, and the importance of following Christ together as a family. SECURITY TEAM | Interested in joining the Redeeming Life Security Team? Members of this team serve as parking lot greeters, watch cameras, and welcome those showing up a little late. There are some other tasks that may come up from time to time. If you’re interested, please let Pastor Josiah know.
