Announcement of Ministries | 7/14/24
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. We’ll be singing To God Be The Glory, All I Have Is Christ, Christ Is All, and Be Thou My Vision. We will be continuing our sermon series “Be The Church” as Pastor Josiah delivers a message centered on 1 Timothy 2:8-15. We will also respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on July 14th. We will be sharing a quick financial update and voting to affirm a new member on our Church Council.
LADIES’ NIGHT OUT | On the third Thursday of every month, the ladies of Redeeming Life get together at 6:30pm at a local restaurant for a delicious meal and a time of fellowship. Each person covers the cost of their own meal. Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have us back. WE NEED HELP IN THE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY | Here’s a great opportunity to serve and preach the gospel to the next generation of the Church. Please consider volunteering in the Nursery, Pre-K, or older kids’ classes. We also need people to monitor the cameras on an iPad during the service or serve as the Children’s Ministry Assistant. You can choose to serve during the 9:30am class hour, the 11:00 worship service, or both! Volunteers serve on a rotation, certainly not every week or as often as you might think.
