Jesus commanded his disciples to make disciples. So if we call ourselves disciples, this is for us. But not just the command. There’s much more in this for us than we might think. The Great Commission is God’s plan for maturing his disciples. It’s how Christians join Jesus and get to encounter Jesus. Making disciples gives us a front row seat to the work of God. Obeying the Great Commission is not just about the lost getting saved, it’s about how we get great blessing from God. There’s a lot in it for us.
