Internships at Redeeming Life Church
Redeeming Life Church loves to offer internships to suitable candidates. We believe the primary purpose of an internship is to allow a learner to experience one or more aspects of ministry or ministry leadership. Interns at Redeeming Life will be given opportunities to work with our Lead Pastor and staff in a specific area of ministry. In addition, we will provide the Intern opportunities and resources to learn more about that ministry in a "boots-on-the-ground" learning environment.
While internships at Redeeming Life are unpaid, the right candidate will be given many opportunities to grow, gain ministry experience, and build a resume. Depending on the length of the internship, we will provide books and other resources. Every week, the Intern will receive an hour of instruction and training with a ministry leader. They will also receive an hour of coaching and discipleship with Dr. Bryan Catherman (our Lead Pastor). As is often the case, we are very willing to modify or design internships to meet Bible college or seminary field training education and be eligible for seminary or Bible college credit. This internship might be perfect for online students!
We expect our Interns to be present at our 11:00 AM Sunday morning worship service, our 6:30 PM Sunday evening worship service and serve as asked in the ministry area, as needed. While the Intern will not be expected to become a member at Redeeming Life, we require that the Intern be plugged in during the internship period.
Redeeming Life Church is the merge of a 60-year-old church and a 6-year-old church plant. We believe in team ministry, and we believe the Word of God should lead everything we do.
We highly recommend that interested candidates review our website and watch at least two live-streamed services. We want to be sure we are a good fit for the Intern as much as the Intern be a good fit for us.
